nic i was attempted to utilize the sg1 but when saving or exporting the files they would not open or save properly any ideas on how to fix this problem so i can utilize the meshes and import them in different programs.

Have you added the file extention .stl at the end of your saved file name ???
If you dont add the .stl file extention it will not work !!!
Normaly it work very well, i never have problems with this software

It is impossible to print, the mesh size is 1 Gb with more of 20'000'000 polygons   :)
