Exporting VRML files for Shapeways
1. Be sure to use the right version. VRML comes in a number of variations. The one you need to export to is VRML2, also known as VRML 2.0 or VRML97.
2. We treat 1 unit in VRML as 1 meter. If you get scary-looking error emails telling you that your design won't fit in our printers, try scaling your model down to the right size.
3. Like every other file, the maximum file size is 64MB, and the polygon count limit is 500,000.
4. Apply any modifiers or smoothing groups before exporting - we'll only grab the raw geometry from your file.
